In 2018, the Supreme Court ruled that businesses are responsible for collecting sales tax on out-of-state sales.
A small e-commerce brand doing $5M in sales typically owes sales tax in 30+ states. And a growing SaaS company might now be dealing with nexus in 23 jurisdictions. But registering a business in multiple states with their own tax codes is daunting.
And we had to do something about it.
We built Numeral to be the end-to-end platform for sales tax compliance. As former operators ourselves, we felt the pain of sales tax compliance firsthand. So we fixed it.
